How Payment Plans Work

Spread Tuition Out, On Your Terms

HPI’s Student Payment Plan lets you pay tuition and fees in installments across the semester, after an initial deposit, instead of all at once. Every student on a payment plan signs a Student Payment Plan Agreement that spells out the schedule and amounts.

A few things worth knowing before you sign up:
  • Payments are due on the same scheduled day each month, as agreed in your Student Payment Plan Agreement.
  • Credit card payments carry a 3% processing fee.
  • Post-dated checks are applied to your account on the check date, not the date it's received.
  • A returned check carries a $30 non-sufficient funds fee.
  • After two returned checks, future payments must be made by cash, money order, cashier's check, or credit card.
  • You need to be current on your plan by the end of each semester to register for the next one. There's a one-week grace period after the course end date to settle a delinquent balance.
  • In your final semester, outstanding balances must be paid before final exams. A balance at the end of the program means no credential and no walking at graduation until it's resolved.

Yes. In your final semester, any outstanding balance must be paid before final exams. Students with a balance at the end of the program will not receive their credential and will not be allowed to attend graduation until the balance is resolved.

If you withdraw, any unused tuition, books, fees, and other charges are refunded according to HPI’s official Refund Policy, in line with Ohio's Cancellation and Refund regulations. Refunds are calculated based on your last date of attendance.
